On July 1, 2000 NOC Nepal organized conducted national level Course in Volleyball in Kathmandu up to July 30. It was assisted by two FIVB Experts Mr. Hussinei of Sudan and Mrs. Susan Gonzalae of USA. The Volleyball course was participated by 32 Nepalese Coaches from different parts of the Kingdom.
NOC Nepal conducted Regional Level IOC Olympic Solidarity course in Swimming in Kathmandu from 28th August to 3rd September 2000 which was conducted by FINA Expert Ms. Jay Davis. This Swimming Coaches course was participated by 26 Swimming Coaches including Coaches from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Nepal. In the same month President of NOC Nepal. Mr. Rukma Shumsher Rana who is also the Member of the OCA Executive Board attended 35th OCA Executive Board meeting in Tashkent.
