NOC Bids Farewell to Wrestling Team heading to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for the Asian Wrestling Championship and UWW Asia Council Congress
President of NOC Jeevan Ram Shrestha bade farewell to the national wrestling team heading to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for the Asian Wrestling Championship and UWW Asia Council Congress.
NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha expressed confidence in the positive progress of wrestling in Nepal. Vice President Ashok Ratna Bajracharya was also present.
Suresh Chunara (74kg) and Triloki Prasad Yadav (97kg) will represent Nepal, under coach Mumtaz Ali Idrisi. The team departs on April 6.
The same team is also participating in the upcoming Asian Beach Games 2026 going to be held in Sanya.
