The Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) organized a farewell program today to extend best wishes to the Nepali esports delegation departing for the IESF World Esports Championship 2025 – Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The championship is scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 3 to 7, 2025.
NOC President Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha personally congratulated and encouraged the athletes and officials representing Nepal. He expressed confidence that the team would showcase strong performances on the international stage and bring pride to the nation. President Shrestha highlighted the rapid growth of esports globally and reaffirmed NOC’s commitment to supporting emerging sports and young athletes.
The delegation includes two MLBB teams—male and female—along with their coaches and an official. The players invited to participate are:
Aayush Bhandari – Athlete
Matthew Hwee Yong Tan – Coach
Prakriti Tamang – Athlete
Suraj Dangol, President, Nepal Esports Association
During the program, President Shrestha wished the delegation a safe journey and successful participation, stating that the NOC stands ready to support them in every possible way. He also expressed gratitude to all partners and stakeholders for ensuring smooth coordination for the team’s travel and participation.
