Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevan Ram Shrestha bid farewell to the participants of Nepal Weightlifting Association during a program organized on Wednesday. On that occasion, NOC Secretary General Mr. Nilendra Raj Shrestha praised the activity of Nepal Weightlifting Association to President Ram Shrestha Boss.
Weightlifter Sagar Bhandari who is also the Olympic Solidarity Scholarship holder for Paris Olympic 2024, is set to present his challenge at the IWF World Cup 2024 to be held in Phuket, Thailand. The competition is scheduled to start on March 31 and will continue till April 11.
In this competition, which is also a Olympic Qualifier, will play in the weight category of 119 kg. In the three-member team of Mr. Sagar Bhandari, the Coach was Jeevan Gautam and the Team Manager was Ram Sundar Shrestha.
In the program SA RADO member Dr. Gyanendra Shah and the representatives of Weightlifting Association were present.
