Speaking at the program, President of the Nepal Olympic Committee, Jeevan Ram Shrestha, said the Fun Run was organized not only to promote the Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games but also to send a message of Nepal’s participation and best wishes for the success of the Games in Japan. NOC Secretary General Rajiv Shrestha thanked all stakeholders for making the event successful and said the program also serves as a campaign to promote Olympic values and community participation.

The event was attended by Deputy Director of the Olympic Council of Asia, Vinod Kumar Tiwari, Media and PR Director of the Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games Organizing Committee, Fumihito Kanaizuka, and Media Department Manager Manami Okumura.
