Farewell for Baseball for 32nd World Children's Baseball Fair 2026 in Narita, Japan

President of the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC), Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha along with secretary General of NOC Mr. Rajiv Shrestha bade farewell to the Nepali delegation departing for the 32nd World Children's Baseball Fair 2026, scheduled to be held in Narita, Japan, from July 30 to August 7, 2026, during a farewell program held at the NOC Building.
Addressing the young participants, President Mr. Shrestha congratulated them on earning the opportunity to represent Nepal on the international stage. He encouraged them to enjoy the experience, build friendships with children from around the world, and serve as proud ambassadors of Nepal through sportsmanship, discipline, and respect.
The Nepali team consists of Abhinay Shrestha, Bhumika Khadka, Khushi Shrestha, Shankalpa Paudel, and Youel Rokka. The delegation will be accompanied by Mr. Bipin Bajracharya as the team chaperone.
Organized under the auspices of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and the World Children's Baseball Foundation (WCBF), the annual event brings together children from across the globe to promote friendship, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding through baseball.
The Nepal Olympic Committee extended its best wishes to the team for a successful and memorable participation in the World Children's Baseball Fair 2026.
In the program Mr.Ramji Bahadur Shrestha, Deputy General Secretary of NOC, Mr.Ram Krishna Shrestha, Secretary of NOC, Mr.Tej Bahadur Gurung, Former Vice President of NOC, Mr.Dipak Neupane President of Nepal Baseball and Softball Association, Mr.Pradik Shah, General Secretary, Nepal Baseball and Softball Association & Mr.Prasant Dahal, Executive Member, Nepal Baseball and Softball Association were present.
