President of NOC Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha along with Secretary General of NOC Mr. Nilendra Raj Shrestha and VP as well as ED of NOC Mr. Chaturananda Rajvaidya bade farewell to two participants from Nepal Shooting Association.
The ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol event is set to take place from January 27th to February 8th in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Team NEPAL will be represented by Coach Pradeep Khati and player Ms. Sushmita Nepal.
Ms. Sushmita is the Olympic Scholarship holder, who is participating in the women's 10m air Rifle event, is expected to make a strong showing and compete for a medal.
President Shrestha gave his best wishes to the participants and said that world championship is a great platform to enhance the experience of the player which will help boost the confidence to play in the upcoming Paris Olympics.
President of Nepal Shooting Association Mr. Pushpa Das Shrestha was also present in the program; he thanked Nepal Olympic Committee for their continuous support.
