Nepal Olympic Committee Award 2023

Nepal Olympic Committee celebrated its second edition of Award Ceremony today on Park Village Resort, Budhanilkantha namely NOC Award 2023 on the occasion of Olympic Day 2023. The nominees were among 27 affiliated Associations. Journalists were also awarded for encouraging the Athletes and coaches.
The chairman of the NOC Award 2023 is member of NOC and President of Nepal Cycling Association Mr. Gopal Sunder Lal Kakshapati.

Nepal Olympic Committee has decided to host NOC Award every year. There were 9 jury members of different professions for the NOC Award 2023.

  1. Raghu Raj Onta ( Chief Judge)
  2. Dr. Ram Krishna Maharjan
  3. Gen. Sudha Sen Malla
  4. Singha Bahadur Shrestha
  5. Rita Rai Dahal
  6. Niranjan Rajbanshi
  7. Sujeeta Shrestha Manandhar
  8. Indira Niraula
  9. Harihar Shrestha

 The winners of NOC Award 2023 are:

  1. NOC Best Journalist in Print: Mr. Prajeet Shakya
  2. NOC Best Journalist in Multi-Media : Mr. Saroj Tamang
  3. NOC Best Sports Photo Journalist : Ms. Sunita Dangol
  4. NOC Best Visual Media : Mr. Prajol Shakya
  5. NOC Best Athlete Male : Mr. Deepak Adhikari
  6. NOC Best Athletes Female : Ms. Shrijana Ghising
  7. NOC Best Coach Male : Mr. Kabiraj Negi Lama
  8. NOC Best Coach Female : Ms. Renu Devi Konda
  9. NOC Best Association : Nepal Boxing Association

The winners of these 9 awards were also awarded with a cash prize of fifty thousand rupees each.

President of Nepal Olympic Committee Mr. Jeeven Ram Shrestha presented the NOC Presidential Recognition to following people:

  1. Cheong Kwee Seng
  2. Prithvi Bahadur Pande (Chairman, NIMB)
  3. Nila Raj Bhattarai (Vice President, Kathmandu Podway Company, Pvt. Ltd)
  4. Jyoti Rana (Vice President, Nepal Olympic Committee)
  5. Rajpura Pachhai (Athletics)

In the program Member secretary of NSC Mr. Tanka Lal Ghising was the Special Guest, all the GA members of NOC, Commission Heads along with President, Secretary General of Affiliated Association were present. The Award Show was followed by a Dinner Program.
